Este 25 de mayo Venezuela llega a unas elecciones que serán combinadas entre regionales, parlamentarias y consejos legislativos. En total se elegirán 569 cargos: 285 diputados de la Asamblea Nacional (para el periodo 2026-2031), 260 legisladores de los estados y 24 gobernadores. El vicepresidente del Consejo Nacional Electoral, Carlos Quintero, informó el lunes que se habilitarán 15.736 centros de votación y más de 27.000 mesas electorales para llevar adelante la jornada, al tiempo que se desplegarán 412.000 funcionarios de seguridad para garantizar el normal desarrollo del evento.
