Este sábado el presidente de Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou y el opositor venezolano Edmundo González se reunieron a puertas cerradas. De acuerdo con el gobierno uruguayo, Edmundo González obsequió a Lacalle Pou algunas copias de las actas electorales que lo habrían proclamado como ganador de las pasadas elecciones en Venezuela. En un comunicado, el Gobierno de Uruguay reiteró su apoyo hacia González Urrutia y rechazó las pretensiones del presidente Nicolás Maduro de quedarse en el poder.
